Why is there a contract and what’s in it?

January 1, 2000

For each photo-shoot, we sign a mutual agreement.

This is to make sure both parties know exactly what’s expected from them and what’s not allowed.

The contract covers things like:

- usage of the images (portfolio, promotion, contests,..)
- copyright ownership
- no usage of the image on pornographic sites
- no commercial usage without mutual consent, ie. compensation.
- limits on enhancements (Photoshopping) of the final images

Of course, like so many things in life, this contract is negiotable.
